Using templates in HubSpot

How to create and send an envelope via a template in HubSpot.

With the HubSpot integration, you can create an envelope via a template directly from a contact, company or deal. You can also feed information directly into your template.

This article covers how to use a template, as well as how to create a template and map your HubSpot properties. Each property in HubSpot has an internal unique identifier, we will show you how to get this, and enter it into your Annature template.

Here are the steps to creating a template inside of Annature and mapping your HubSpot properties.

1. Create template inside of Annature

In Annature, go to templates from the left hand side menu and create your template like normal. If you are using an existing template, you can skip this step. 

2. Get your HubSpot Property ID's

In HubSpot, navigate to Settings > Data Management > Properties and find the property that you wish to map to your Annature template.

Select the property and navigate to basic information. Next to the label name, press on the code icon which will provide you with the unique identifier. Save this internal name in a notepad/word document, as you will paste this into Annature

3. Enter your HubSpot property ID's in Annature template

In your Annature template, navigate to the field you wish to map. On the right hand side menu, you will notice a new 'HubSpot Id' field. Paste the internal unique identifier from HubSpot into this field.


Using a Template

With your Annature template set up correctly and HubSpot unique ID's mapped, you can now create a new envelope via a template directly from HubSpot.

1. Create envelope via template

In the Annature menu in HubSpot, select 'Actions' then choose the template you wish to use from the dropdown.

2. Prepare and send envelope

Once you have created your envelope, a placeholder will appear to your draft enevelope in Annature.
