How do automatic reminders work?

Automatic reminders are a convenient feature designed to enhance communication efficiency by systematically sending follow-up notifications based on specified parameters. Admins can configure the frequency and maximum number of reminders to be dispatched before the system discontinues further notifications.

Specify the frequency and total number of reminder emails to be sent before the system stops sending reminders.

  • Days between reminders: This determines how often reminders are sent. For instance, setting it to 3 days means a recipient will receive reminders every third day.
  • Maximum number of reminders: This specifies the total number of reminders that will be sent before the system stops. For example, setting it to 3 means three reminders will be sent in total.

💡 For example, with the settings shown above, a recipient that was sent an envelope on the 1st of December would receive a follow-up email on the 4th of December, the 7th of December and on the 10th of December before stopping.

Audit Log Tracking

Each time a reminder is sent, the system logs an entry in the envelope's audit log. This log provides a comprehensive record of all reminders sent to each recipient, enabling users to track and manage communication effectively.

Automatic reminders streamline follow-up processes, ensuring timely engagement while maintaining transparency through detailed audit trails. These features are invaluable in various contexts, from business communications to personal task management, offering users flexibility and control over their reminder notifications.
