How can I use SMS?

SMS is a versatile and effective tool within Annature, designed to streamline your workflows and enhance document security. Whether you're looking to make it easier for your recipients to access and sign documents or want to add an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication (2FA), SMS is a reliable solution that ensures convenience and peace of mind.

Here are the primary ways you can use SMS in your workflow:

Sending a Link to Sign Documents

You can use SMS to send a secure link directly to your recipients, allowing them to access and sign documents on their mobile devices. This is particularly useful when your signer might not have immediate access to their email or prefers SMS for quicker access.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to Access Envelopes

For added security, Annature offers the option to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via SMS. When 2FA is activated, the recipient will receive a one-time passcode (OTP) via SMS, which they must enter before accessing the envelope. This ensures only authorised users can access sensitive documents.
