Field options

Depending on the type of field you add, you can customise it in various ways.

For example, you can change the field's recipient, adjust its formatting, make the field required for signing, or add a tooltip to help guide recipients on what the field is for.

Here is a guide to the common field settings;

Required: Mark this on if your recipient must enter information in the field in order to complete the envelope.
Read only: Your recipient won't be able to edit this field.
Collaborative: All recipients on this envelope will be able to see and interact with this field.
Text: Adding text in the field will pre-populate information in that field. 
Field Id: This is an internal ID signed to each field. This does not need to be changed.
Tool Tip: When a recipient hovers over a field, this will show as a 'tip/hint'.
