You can require a biometrics check when requesting identity verification. This process compares a selfie with the photo on the licence or passport. It ensures that the owner of the document is the same person taking the photo.

To enable biometrics checks, ensure you toggle Require biometrics check under Additional options when creating the identity verification request.

By using biometrics, you enhance security and reduce the chances of identity fraud. The system analyses facial features from both images to verify a match. This method provides a reliable way to confirm someone's identity, ensuring that only authorised individuals can proceed.
